Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces — scraping, sanding, priming and filling before painting
- Apply interior and exterior paints, varnishes and decorative coatings to a high standard
- Work from project drawings and finish schedules to match specified colours and textures
- Protect floors, furniture and fittings during work and leave the site clean
- Coordinate with other trades on-site to meet project timelines
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a painter in residential construction or renovation
- Knowledge of interior and exterior painting techniques and materials
- Attention to detail and pride in a clean, high-quality finish
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
